Soccer Recap: Oaks Christian Takes a Loss

Oaks Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Calabasas Coyotes. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 778th, while the Coyotes are ranked 76th).

Oaks Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Calabasas, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Oaks Christian has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Westlake on the 4th. As for Calabasas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 5-0 victory against Agoura on the 4th.
