Diego Alvarez Game Report: vs Immaculata-La Salle

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Diego Alvarez stepped things up a notch to give St. Brendan the 'W'. Alvarez scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also put up a stolen base, which washis first of the season.

Coming up, Alvarez and St. Brendan will look to defend their home field on Monday against Miami Springs at 6:00 p.m. Miami Springs will enter the matchup having just beaten TERRA Environmental, so St. Brendan will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
