Soccer Recap: Winters Comes Up Short

If Winters was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Fairfield last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Winters Warriors fell 3-1 to the Dixon Rams on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Rams: they've now lost four in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Winters fell to 2-1-1. As for Dixon, the win keeps them at an undefeated 3-0-1.

Winters will venture away from home to take on Woodland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dixon, they will be home for the holidays to greet Natomas at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Dixon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.
