Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norwin). They skirted past the Butler Golden Tornado 11-9. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 back in March.

The win made it two in a row for Norwin and bumps their season record up to 3-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Butler, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Looking ahead, Norwin will head out to square off against Pine-Richland at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Butler, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 18-0 defeat against Hempfield Area on the 17th.
