Basketball Recap: Show-Me Christian Comes Up Short

Show-Me Christian lost against Applewood Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Show-Me Christian Angels took a blow against Applewood Christian, falling 53-15. The Angels were down 39-9 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Show-Me Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Taija Jones, who posted six points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Abigail Randleman, who put up two points and three steals.

Show-Me Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Applewood Christian, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4.

Show-Me Christian will take on Bethel Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Applewood Christian has already played their next match (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
