Basketball Recap: Chattanooga Christian Takes a Loss

Chattanooga Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a blow against the Cleveland Blue Raiders, falling 74-47. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 338th, while the Blue Raiders are ranked 118th).

Chattanooga Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Cleveland, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chattanooga Christian will square off against Hayesville at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Chattanooga Christian is facing Hayesville at the right time seeing as Hayesville is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Cleveland, they will take on Walker Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Walker Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
