Basketball Game Preview: Sugar-Salem Diggers vs. Teton Timberwolves

The Sugar-Salem Diggers will square off against the Teton Timberwolves at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sugar-Salem will be strutting in after a victory while Teton will be coming in after a defeat.

Sugar-Salem will head into Saturday's contest on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Ririe on Saturday. Sugar-Salem put the hurt on Ririe with a sharp 58-34 win. That 24 point margin sets a new team best for the Diggers this season.

Meanwhile, Teton unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 60-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of American Falls.

Teton's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5. As for Sugar-Salem, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
