Softball Game Preview: Walled Lake Northern Knights vs. South Lyon Lions

The Walled Lake Northern Knights will square off against the South Lyon Lions on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Walled Lake Northern comes in on six and South Lyon on five.

Walled Lake Northern is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Grand Blanc, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since May 8th.

Meanwhile, while South Lyon put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Northville. The Lions came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-0.

South Lyon's win bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Walled Lake Northern, their victory bumped their record up to 29-5-1.

Walled Lake Northern was able to grind out a solid win over South Lyon in their previous meeting back in May, winning 5-1. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
