Baseball Game Preview: Tigerton Tigers vs. Bowler Panthers

The Tigerton Tigers will face off against the Bowler Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Tigerton is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since May 13, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Port Edwards, falling 15-4. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Tigers' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Meanwhile, Bowler lost 12-1 to Marion on Monday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Bowler saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Treyvon Granquist, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tigerton fell to 4-1. As for Bowler, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.

Tigerton took their victory against Bowler in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
