Leflore County is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 33-27 heartbreaker at the hands of North Side. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Gators 9-1 in the first quarter.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jordan Dixon, who went 5 for 7 en route to 10 points and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Makiyzah Sims, who posted six points.

Meanwhile, Charleston waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They escaped with a win against the Greenwaves by the margin of a single free throw, 36-35. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Tigers were the better team in the second half.

Charleston now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Leflore County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.
