Hernando has gone 8-2 against Springstead recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hernando Leopards will head out to take on the Springstead Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Hernando is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.

Springstead's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Wiregrass Ranch on Tuesday. Springstead blew past Citrus 14-4. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Springstead is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. Hernando has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Hernando suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Springstead when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Hernando avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
