East Nicolaus entered their tilt with Colusa on Tuesday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They put the hurt on the RedHawks with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While East Nicolaus won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20, 27-25.

Lela DeCecco paced East Nicolaus' offense, picking up 11 kills. DeCecco got some help from Shelby Scoggins and her 27 assists. Finally, DeCecco was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

East Nicolaus' victory bumped their record up to 26-2. As for Colusa, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-9.

East Nicolaus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Pierce on the 25th. As for Colusa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Durham on the 25th.
