Volleyball Recap: Stratford Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Stratford was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Bassick on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Devils lost 3-0 to the New Milford Green Wave on Tuesday. The Red Devils were not able to make up for their loss to the Green Wave from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

New Milford had a senior duo take command as Kayla Greene had seven aces and one block and Elena Stein had 19 assists and two aces. Those seven aces set a new season-high mark for Greene. Kendall Lim also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Stratford has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for New Milford, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Stratford has already played their next matchup (against New Fairfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for New Milford, they will be playing at home against Masuk at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
