Soccer Game Preview: Clear Springs vs. Guyer

The Clear Springs Chargers will be taking part in a tournament against the Guyer Wildcats at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Clear Springs' last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Clear Springs is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Frenship just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Guyer entered their tilt with Austin on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went their way against the Maroons as they made off with a 5-2 victory. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly three goals.

They hit Austin with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Camila Mujica (2), McKynzi Hailey, Natalya Carnell, and Keira Floyd.

Guyer's win bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Clear Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
