Basketball Recap: Meadville Takes a Loss

Meadville lost against Hale back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Meadville Eagles fell to the Hale Cardinals 60-56.

Despite the loss, Meadville still got an impressive performance from Mason Dennis, who posted 16 points and eight assists. That's the most assists Dennis has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Walker Norris, who had eight points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Meadville's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Hale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Meadville won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Novinger at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meadville is facing Novinger at the right time seeing as Novinger is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Hale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
