Clarkdale has gone a perfect 6-0 against Newton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Clarkdale will head out on the road to take on Newton at 6:30 p.m. Clarkdale will be strutting in after a victory while Newton will be coming in after a loss.

Meanwhile, Newton came up short against Lake on Thursday, falling 19-1. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
Newton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Clarkdale, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-9.
Clarkdale took their win against Newton in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 12-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clarkdale since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
