Volleyball Recap: Lowell Catholic's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Lowell Catholic was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Central Catholic on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crusaders fell just short of the Greater Lawrence Tech Reggies by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Reggies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Lowell Catholic's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Greater Lawrence Tech, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Lowell Catholic has already played their next match (against Salem), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Greater Lawrence Tech, they are taking a road trip to challenge Dracut at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Middies have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
