HARTSHORNE, Okla. -
Millwood (Oklahoma City, Okla.) snapped the four-game winning streak of
Hartshorne (Okla.), with a 24-9 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Falcons led 18-9 at the half.
Millwood expanded its lead to 15 points entering the fourth quarter. MHS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run.
With the win the Oklahoma City school extended its winning streak to 14 games. Millwood defeated Meeker 14-6 last week.
Hartshorne's only touchdown came on a 3-yard run by
Dallas Herring in the second quarter.
The Falcons had given up an average of 10.4 points prior to the contest.
The defeat comes as a step back for Hartshorne, who notched a 32-25 victory over Oklahoma Christian in its previous outing.
