Baseball Recap: Bishop Carroll Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

While Bishop Carroll's victory against Penns Valley Area wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies skirted past the Rams 7-5. The win was some much needed relief for the Huskies as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Cullen Myers, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ethan Holtz, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Bishop Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Penns Valley Area, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Bishop Carroll wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Chestnut Ridge on the 6th. As for Penns Valley Area, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-0 defeat against Bellefonte on the 6th.
