Volleyball Game Preview: William Allen Canaries vs. Nazareth Area Blue Eagles

William Allen is 0-3 against Nazareth Area since April of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The William Allen Canaries will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Nazareth Area Blue Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

William Allen proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Pocono Mountain West 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Canaries in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

William Allen got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-20, 25-21, 28-30, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Nazareth Area gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Pocono Mountain East.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-16.
