Football Recap: Pentucket Regional Takes a Loss

Pentucket Regional lost against North Reading back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Pentucket Regional took a hard 47-28 fall against North Reading. While losing is never fun, Pentucket Regional can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 127th, while North Reading is ranked 50th).

This is the second loss in a row for Pentucket Regional and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for North Reading, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Pentucket Regional will square off against Ipswich at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pentucket Regional will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Reading, they will welcome Newburyport at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
