Mount Vernon has gone 10-0 against Dugway recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Wednesday.  Mount Vernon will have to keep a close watch on  Tanner Thackeray and  Gary Williams Jr, a pair of players who had a big impact on Dugway's prior game. Thackeray  had 21  points, while  Williams Jr  put up 21 points.
 This is the second loss in a row for Mount Vernon and  nudges their season record down to 2-12. As for Dugway, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
 Everything came up roses for Mount Vernon against Dugway when the teams last played  back in February of 2024, as the  squad secured  a  69-32 win. In that  contest, Mount Vernon amassed a halftime lead of  44-22, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat  on Wednesday.
