Soccer Recap: Hillsborough Comes Up Short

Hillsborough lost against Wharton back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hillsborough Terriers lost 8-0 to the Wharton Wildcats. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Terriers haven't been shut out since back in November.

Hillsborough has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Wharton, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Hillsborough will venture away from home to square off against Leto at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillsborough is facing Leto at the right time seeing as Leto is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Wharton, they will face off against Gaither at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
