Soccer Game Preview: Cape Cod RVT vs. Atlantis

The Cape Cod RVT Crusaders will venture away from home to challenge Atlantis at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Cape Cod RVT is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against St. John Paul II on Tuesday. The Crusaders fell 3-1 to the Lions. While losing is never fun, Cape Cod RVT can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 210th, while St. John Paul II are ranked 67th).

Meanwhile, Atlantis had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Storm as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Considering Atlantis has won six matchups by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Atlantis' win bumped their record up to 7-2-5. As for Cape Cod RVT, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5-1.
