Memphis Business Academy's win came from a few key players Lakeland Preparatory will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Larry Benson, who shot 5-for-7 from long range and dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 assists. The contest was his 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jaylon Hopson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 boards.

Lakeland Preparatory has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Memphis Business Academy, they pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
