Scio extended the longest winning streak in 3A PacWest this week by beating Creswell, 52-0. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Scio took down the Bulldogs 52-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Daniel Harper ran for 226 yards in the win.
Salem Academy's dynamic duo of Carlin Ables and Jake Hall proved tough for Toledo to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Ables threw for 115 yards and one touchdown and Hall had 98 yards receiving. Hunter Bain helped Salem Academy's passing attack out by catching one ball for 37 yards.
Hunter Carlson made the biggest impact on defense this week as Jim Mask's team topped Creswell. The 6-foot-1 senior grabbed two sacks.
The Crusaders' Ables and Hall have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Ables has thrown for 1183 yards this season, while Hall, a 6-foot-5 receiver, has 25 catches for 733 yards. The Loggers' Harper leads the league in rushing yards with 1828.
Pleasant Hill made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,036 from 8,617. The improvement came about via a 29-6 victory over Blanchet Catholic last week.
