 Cambridge lost against Saratoga Central Catholic back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Cambridge N/A wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 14-5 walloping at the hands of the Saratoga Central Catholic Saints.
 For Saratoga Central Catholic's part,  Hailey Ogneiwski was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits (she also only allowed one  walk). Ogneiwski was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with  an  RBI.
 In other batting news, Saratoga Central Catholic got a  massive  performance out of  Allison Fuller, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-5. Another player making a difference was  Ryan McDonald, who  scored four  runs while going 4-for-4.
 Cambridge's defeat was  their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Saratoga Central Catholic,  the  victory  got them back to even at 2-2.
 Cambridge will head out on the road to  take on  Hoosic Valley at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Saratoga Central Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Corinth at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Saratoga Central Catholic is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 11  runs per game  this season.
