Indian Rocks Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Dom Zellner looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Hunter Maddox was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. On the hitting side, Calvary Christian let Brett Garcy and Maximus Mayes run wild. Garcy went 2-for-5 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Mayes scored three runs while going 2-for-3. Those five RBI gave Garcy a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Traina, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Calvary Christian pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Indian Rocks Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Indian Rocks Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Calvary Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 10.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
