Will Whatley turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Thursday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
