Softball Recap: Metea Valley Mustangs vs. Waubonsie Valley Warriors
Metea Valley put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past the Waubonsie Valley Warriors 8-2. The win was familiar territory for Metea Valley who now have three in a row.
Charlie Benesh spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits.
On the hitting side, Genevieve Gonzales was incredible, going 4-for-4 with four RBI, a run, and a double. Reese Valha was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
