Basketball Recap: Z John Williams Makes It 16 in a Row on the Road

Z John Williams came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial Carayiit as they made off with a 64-38 victory. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Z John Williams was led to victory by Adalyn Samuelson and Anisha Tinker. Samuelson posted 17 points, while Tinker earned 15 points. Those 15 points gave Tinker a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ana Williams, who put up eight points.

Z John Williams' win was their 16th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points over those games. As for Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Z John Williams wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 57-42 victory against Akiuk Memorial on the 24th. Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
