Surry Central was led to victory by Kenzie Hooker and Presley Smith. Hooker had 32 digs, five kills, and two aces, while Smith had 24 digs, 14 kills, and two aces. Smith has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 38 times she's played. Stella Wall was another key player, getting 16 digs and three assists.
Despite the loss, East Wilkes still got an impressive performance from Leila Dobbins, who had 22 digs, 11 kills, and two aces.
