Softball Recap: Warren County Comes Up Short

Warren County suffered their biggest defeat since March 25, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 13-2 to the Oxford Prep Griffins. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Eagles' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Warren County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jokayla Goode, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Warren County's loss dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Oxford Prep, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Griffins beat Warren County by a score of 4-0 later that day.
