East Central is 9-1 against Rushville since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. East Central will have to contain XxZavien Jenkins as he made an impact in Rushville's last game. He went 5 of 9 on his way to 14 points along with eight boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zy Adams, who went 5 of 9 en route to 12 points and five rebounds.

East Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Rushville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Everything came up roses for East Central against Rushville in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 67-36 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for East Central since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
