The Jonathan Alder Pioneers will face off against the London Red Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Jonathan Alder is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Urbana on Monday as they made off with a 19-7 victory. The win continues a trend for the Pioneers in their matchups with the Hillclimbers: they've now won eight in a row.

Natalie Neumeier was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Schellhammer, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Jonathan Alder was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .615. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in six consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, London entered their tilt with Tecumseh on Monday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Arrows.
Sophie Alt made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Alt was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-5.
In other batting news, Khloe Cunningham and Samantha Webb did most of the damage at the plate: Cunningham went 4-for-5 with one home run and five RBI, while Webb scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Cunningham is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Gwyn Wieber, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.
London's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Jonathan Alder, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Jonathan Alder hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .350. However, it's not like London struggles in that department as they've averaged .429. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Jonathan Alder suffered a grim 12-6 defeat to London when the teams last played last Monday. Will the Pioneers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
