With a playoff win on the line, LaGrange rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They blew past the Luella Lions 8-2. LaGrange might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Luella from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Chandler Gholston led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The victory (which was LaGrange's seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those seven matchups. As for Luella, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.

LaGrange will square off against Calhoun on Wednesday. Luella does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
