Tolman faced Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Tigers blew past the Knights 7-1. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Tolman has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.

Coming up, Tolman will take on Classical at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers are facing the Purple at the right time seeing as the Purple are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Central, they have already played their next matchup, a 5-2 victory against East Greenwich on the 18th.
