There's no place like home for Head-Royce, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Bentley Phoenix on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Jayhawks not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 12th (when they won 3-0).

While Head-Royce won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 27-25, 25-21.

Head-Royce has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Bentley, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Head-Royce will welcome Piedmont at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Jayhawks are facing the Highlanders at the right time seeing as the Highlanders are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Bentley, they will challenge Concord at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
