Basketball Recap: Cardinal Takes a Loss

Cardinal came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 57-34 to the Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Rockets. The Comets have struggled against the Rockets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Cardinal now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cardinal will be home for the holidays to greet Van Buren County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, they will welcome Clarke at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
