Soccer Recap: Douglas Takes a Loss

Douglas managed to keep up with Damonte Ranch until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tigers lost 7-1 to the Mustangs. While losing is never fun, Douglas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada soccer rankings (they are ranked 71st, while Damonte Ranch are ranked 20th).

Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Damonte Ranch, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2-1.

Looking ahead, Douglas will host Galena at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Douglas are facing Galena at the right time seeing as Galena are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Damonte Ranch, they are taking a road trip to take on Sparks at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
