Baseball Recap: Signal Mountain Comes Up Short

Signal Mountain's tournament run continued when they took on Manatee on Thursday. The Eagles took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hurricanes.

Signal Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Manatee, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Signal Mountain will head out to take on Sweetwater at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Manatee, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-3 defeat against Alcoa on the 10th.
