Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Triumphs

St. Joseph won the last time they faced Darien, and TJ Wright did his part to make sure it happened again. The St. Joseph Cadets managed a 54-50 win over the Darien Blue Wave on Tuesday thanks in part to Wright, who posted 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of St. Joseph's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Febus, who had nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in January of 2024.

St. Joseph's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Darien, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

St. Joseph has already played their next contest, an 82-54 win against Norwalk on the 17th. As for Darien, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 85-53 defeat against Staples on the 17th.
