Volleyball Recap: West Albany Bulldogs vs. Silverton Foxes
West Albany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Silverton Foxes. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Foxes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
West Albany started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. After all that action, the final score was 17-25, 27-25, 25-21, 25-21.
West Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Silverton, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
West Albany will face off against South Albany at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Albany will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something West Albany surely won't give up without a fight. As for Silverton, they will welcome Corvallis at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
