Basketball Recap: Graham/Dustin Piles Up the Points Against Billings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bowlegs, Graham/Dustin was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Billings Bulldogs 59-16. The win was a breath of fresh air for the RiverHawk as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Graham/Dustin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Henry Bennett, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 19 rebounds. Bennett has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played. Isaiah Stout was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 17 points and nine boards.

Graham/Dustin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in ten consecutive games dating back to last season.

Graham/Dustin's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Billings, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Graham/Dustin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-48 loss against Schulter on the 12th. As for Billings, they will be home for the holidays to greet Taloga at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
