Adair put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Locust Grove Pirates, posting a 59-6 win. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Adair's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Quinton Payne, who rushed for 83 yards and two scores on only eight carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Payne has posted since back in September of 2024. Camden Ferder made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Adair's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Locust Grove, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Adair will host Salina at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. After each having a week off, Locust Grove and Checotah will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. The matchup will give the Pirates their first taste of in-conference action this season.
