Bishop Snyder's tournament run continued when they took on Ponte Vedra on Saturday. Bishop Snyder took a 65-51 bruising from Ponte Vedra. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Sharks are ranked 87th).

Meanwhile, Impact Christian Academy entered their tilt with Providence School on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Stallions 73-46.

Impact Christian Academy pushed their record up to 15-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Bishop Snyder, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Things could have been worse for Bishop Snyder, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 73-54 loss to Impact Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Bishop Snyder avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
