It's playoff time, and Pinnacle had no trouble coming through when it counted. They won by a goal and slipped past the Sunnyside Blue Devils 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Pioneers as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Sean Ribadeneira and Bryce Smith scored both of Pinnacle's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 46 goals.

Pinnacle pushed their record up to 20-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 39 goals over those 11 matchups. As for Sunnyside, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-4.

Pinnacle didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Washington on the 22nd. Sunnyside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
