Volleyball Recap: Swanton's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Swanton and Start meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Spartans. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Spartans back in April, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Swanton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-13, 25-22, 25-23.

The win snapped Swanton's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-9 record. As for Start, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.

Swanton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Start, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Perrysburg on the 7th.
