Basketball Recap: Savannah Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Savannah won the last time they faced Bryan County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Savannah Bluejackets secured a 51-45 W over the Bryan County Redskins. The win was nothing new for the Bluejackets as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Savannah's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Deshawn Davis, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 rebounds. Davis is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 25 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Zy Smart, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Savannah pushed their record up to 20-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Bryan County, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7.

As of now, neither Savannah nor Bryan County have any future games scheduled.
