Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Prep Extends Winning Streak to Six

St. Mary's Prep had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Eaglets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. Mary's Prep was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-14.

Leading St. Mary's Prep to victory were Lindsey Schwegman and Zoey Kapeller. Schwegman had five kills and five digs, while Kapeller had 13 digs and four assists. Schwegman is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

St. Mary's Prep's record is now 13-6-4. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-1 record this season.
